Pink Lady Development Ltd, in conjunction with APAL, will again host a stand at Asia Fruit Logistica to promote the Pink Lady® brand and product to buyers across Asia.
With Pink Lady® shipments to new markets up +49% in the last year, PLD are also using Asia Fruit Logistica as an opportunity to meet and refine partnership strategies for increasing Pink Lady® shipments to the region.
Attendance at the event is expected to be up on last year’s 13,500 trade visitors, and this year the Pink Lady® stand will have a bright, breezy Hamptons-style outdoor look and feel. Like our brand identity, it offers a relaxed and sophisticated setting as a meeting point for building relationships with exporters and peers across the global Pink Lady® business.
A stand highlight will be the preview of the 2019/2020 global brand campaign, developed specifically for new and emerging markets. The creative is being driven by McCann Bristol who have partnered with Coregeo to deliver some of the innovative fresh produce marketing campaigns that have helped the UK to achieve the highest market share of any Pink Lady territory.
Head of Group Brand and Regional Manager for Asia, Craig Chester described the stand as a vital hub for business development in the region:

With China now selectively importing licenced Pink Lady® product, and a number of Tier One SMSPs located in the region, the importance of Asia to the success of the Pink Lady® brand increases.
