Pink Lady® Clicks is a consumer competition with a focus in Asia that will run in conjunction with Pink Lady® Food Photographer of the Year (PLFPOTY).
Thailand, being one of the best performing countries among all the emerging markets, was chosen to lead a new consumer marketing initiative. As part of this new consumer marketing focus in Asia, Pink Lady® in collaboration with Thailand’s largest retailer Tesco Lotus, has developed the Pink Lady® Clicks competition. Food, photography and social media are all part of a new Thai culture, and the Pink Lady® team plan to use this competition to reach out to more consumers and ultimately increase the awareness of the brand.
A media event was held together with Tesco Lotus on 1 November to jointly announce the promotion to the media and social influencers. The event itself attracted an extensive traditional and online media coverage in Thailand, with 22 online media and 11 traditional media covering the event.
In the last three years, the focus for Pink Lady® in Asia has been growing distribution and establishing Licensees in some of the key markets. Pink Lady® Clicks will run from November 2018 till February 2019, with the winner receiving a trip to London and the opportunity to attend the 2019 PLFPOTY event at the Mall Galleries.
PLFPOTY is supported by the global Pink Lady® family, with events and promotions held in Chile, Europe and other parts of the world. The competition closes 10 February 2019.
